Steve-Ohs! was created by Sir Abbie Birthday of the Westminster Birthday family, and released to the public in 1959. It became an instant, global success. Following the original secret formula, Steve-Ohs! are to this day, lovingly made of crisped rice (rice grains that are cooked, dried and toasted) and then dyed those famous Steve-Ohs! neon colors.

In 1982, in response to the decline in cavities nationwide, Steve-Ohs! substituted the original micro marshmallows with giant marshmallows to the classic mixture of sweetened rice, non-nutritive cereal varnish and food dyes.

Today, after 50 years as a household name, Steve-Ohs! has a new box and a brand new jingle.

Sir Abbie Birthday currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his family. His son, affectionately named Steve Samons Birthday helps him run the company the exact same way it was started over 50 years ago. Birthday recently celebrated his 90th year on Earth and is more energetic than ever!
